[It doesn't take him long to get up there consider.. Well, he was already there. So he just goes to the elevator and waits patiently.]

[Tifa is as prompt as she can be, but she does have to walk from the lower district. She smiles when she steps out of the elevator and spots him, the uneasiness from their first meeting gone now.]

I hope you weren't waiting too long.

Not at all.

[He's a bit more relaxed since she's now a part of his team, if the three of them can be called that, and he offers a slight smile.]

Do you want a tour of the island, or should we go straight to the labs?

[She tilts her head, considering.]

Is there anything worth a look?

There are a few things, notably the lighthouse and the town. There is a also a lake nearby, freshwater.

Then I wouldn't mind a tour.

Very well, then. The lighthouse first- the view it offers is rather useful in the case of a tour.

[He doesn't have to gesture to show her the direction they're heading in. The lighthouse, with all its height, is rather easy to spot.]

So, Miss Tifa, where did you pick up your skills with computers once again?

[No, she manages to spot that herself, and with a nod falls into step beside him.]

But I guess that's not much of an explanation, is it?

[That earns a light and amused snort.]

I'm afraid it isn't. If it is illegal, then you need not particularly worry. I care little in regards to things like that.

You can't blame a girl for being a little cautious.

[But, it isn't like Shinra has any presence here.]

There's a company called Shinra that's killing our Planet. I'm part of a resistance group.

I suppose I can't. I'm not one to talk, after all.

[That earns his attention, ears twitching curiously.]

How is it killing your world?

I'm not sure what you know about planet life. It's not common knowledge where I'm from.

The Shinra found a way to tap into the Lifestream, and convert it to energy. That's like draining the Planet's blood. It can't survive that forever.

[Her face falls a little, for a different reason. If Meteor hits, both Shinra's actions and everything Avalanche fought for are moot.]

[He might not understand the subject of the Lifestream, whatever that may be, but he is a doctor. He knows how dangerous it is to drain a being's blood and not stop. Particularly if..]

I suppose they are not even finding ways to replace what they have taken. I would hazard a guess they know how much harm they are doing, but are still going ahead with their business?

They only care about lining their pockets with gil.

I imagine that will not do much good when they are all dead.

[Humans, man. Shaking his head as they come up to the lighthouse, he holds open the door for her.]

Still, you have a rather noble goal. I imagine you will find many sympathizers if you spoke of it.

You'd think.

[She gives him a wry smile before stepping on in.]

I am afraid I have no connection to any resistance groups, if that is what you are asking.

I meant where you picked up your skills.

Well, I've always been interested in robotics, so I ended up learning more about computers to help augment the things I would create. When I joined one of the military groups on my homeworld, I eventually met someone else who was considerably more specialized in it.

She was happy to teach me a few things when we became closer.

Doesn't sound like anything illegal there.
